Expulsion to woman who explained sexual assault in Japan

The female councilor who declared that she sexually assaulted by the mayor in Japan expelled. The mayor, who stated that he carried out the attack, continues to work. Arai announced that she forced into sexual intercourse by the Mayor of Kusatsu in 2015.

Later, city councilors demanded re-elections on the grounds that Shoko Arai damaged the town’s reputation.

Shoko Arai got only 18 percent of the vote in the town’s election and lost her seat.
