England: legendary British goalkeeper Ray Clemence dies

Former British goalkeeper Ray Clemence, who played for Liverpool and Tottenham in his career, died at the age of 72.

In a statement made by the British Football Federation, it stated that Clemence, who had treated for cancer for a long time, died.

Clemence, who played 61 matches with the England National Team, played in Liverpool in 1967-1981 and then quit football in 1987 in Tottenham, where he was transferred.

During his career; Clemence won 5 Premier League trophy, 3 Champions Clubs Cups and UEFA Cups.
