Hollywood star Elliot Page and his wife Emma Portner announced that they decided to break up.
In their statement, the Canadian couple said, “After a long process of reflection and evaluation, we made a difficult decision about divorce after our separation last summer. We respect each other and we will remain as close friends.”
Page and Portner were married in 2018 after 1 year of dating.
Last year, Page said, “Hello guys, I want to share with you that I am trans, and my name is Elliot. I feel lucky that I wrote this, I am here, I came here in my life.
Page emphasized her fear by saying, “To be clear, I am not trying to evacuate a moment of joy and celebration, but I want to address the whole picture.”
