Distribution of 2 Covid-19 vaccines in the US will begin before 2021

US Health Minister Alex Azar announced that the distribution of two vaccines developed against the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) will begin before the New Year.

Azar stated that in a program he attended on the CBS channel, the vaccine studies developed against Covid-19 have come to an end. Azar has previously submitted to Pfizer for approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). He noted that Moderna companies that have made new applications are waiting for their approval.

“The FDA will meet on December 10 to discuss the approval of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine; if it is approved, the distribution of this vaccine will begin within days. Moderna is coming a week later. ”

Azar stated that both vaccines will thus be available to the American people before New Year’s Eve.

Azar added that the vaccines will distributed according to the federal vaccine distribution program in the USA and that the usage priorities in the states will be determined by the state governments.

Trump said on his Twitter account, “Moderna is applying for the emergency use of the vaccine. FDA must act fast. They argued that the vaccine operation they called “Operation Beyond Light Speed” was very successful.
