Dexter returns to the screen with its 9th season after 7 years

The phenomenon series Dexter returns to the screen with its new season after a 7-year break. The serial killer series also stars Michael C. Hall.

Dexter, who made the final with 8th season on September 22, 2013, will appear before the audience again with 9th season.

Moreover, the charismatic Dexter of the series, Michael C. Hall, will also star in the lead role.

The American drama series that first aired on Showtime on October 1, 2006. It was announced that it will be on screen again with a 10-episode season in the fall of 2021.

“Dexter is a very special show with millions of fans as well as for Showtime,” Showtime executive Gary Levine told the press.

“We would revisit this unique character if we could find an approach worthy of the original series,” says Levine. “I am happy to announce that Clyde Philips and Michael C. Hall are also on the series and we look forward to filming and broadcasting the new season,” he said.

In Dexter, the lead character, Dexter Morgan, works in the Miami Metro Police Department. He acts as a blood spatter analyzer. However, Dexter Morgan has another secret life unknown. He lives as a serial killer in this secret life that no one knows about.

This mysterious story is based on the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter. The Darkly Dreaming Dexter novel is the first of Jeff Lindsay’s Dexter novels. However, the later seasons of the series were prepared completely independent of the novel.
