The Los Angeles Clippers, one of the NBA Western Conference teams, parted ways with head coach Doc Rivers. According to the club’s statement, 58-year-old Rivers dismissed as a result of mutual agreement.
The Clippers, who had 356 wins and 208 losses in the regular season for 7 years under the direction of Rivers, had 27 wins and 32 defeats in the play-offs, where they rose 6 times.
The US coach had previously trained the Orlando Magic for 4 years, and reached the NBA championship in 2008 with the Boston Celtics, where he served for 9 years.
