Britain demands immediate release of Russian dissident Navalny

Navalny was detained at the airport in Moscow

Navalny, who took the plane from Tomsk, Russia to Moscow on 20 August 2020, got sick during the flight and the plane landed in Omsk. It was alleged that Navalny, who was hospitalized in Omsk, was poisoned with a substance mixed with his tea.

Navalny, 44, was transferred from Omsk to the Charite Hospital in Berlin on a private plane on 22 August 2020. Alexei Navalny was detained at the Moscow airport on 17 January as soon as he returned from Germany, where he was receiving treatment.
