Joe Biden announced his team that will fight climate change in the new cabinet he is trying to create.
Joe Biden, elected president of the USA, announced in Wilmington, Delaware; Former Michigan Governor Jennifer Granholm at the Department of Energy. He stated that he will also appoint Michael Regan from the environmental department of the state of North Carolina as the head of the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
If she is also voted in the Senate, Regan will be the first black EPA president in the country.
Biden also named Brenda Mallory as chairman of the White House Environmental Quality Council; and former EPA President Gina McCarthy to the National Environmental Advisory.
