Beyonce announced that she started beekeeping during isolation.
According to the news reported by British Vogue, the famous singer said that there are about 80 thousand bees in her house.
The singer said, “I know it’s unexpected, but I have two beehives. Real beehives. They’ve been home for a while now. I have about 80 thousand bees and we make hundreds of jars of honey every year ”
Beyonce explained that she started beekeeping to help her daughters keep their allergies under control. “I set up the hives for my daughters Blue and Rumi, they both have very bad allergies and honey has numerous benefits,” says Beyonce. Beyonce, who has three children with her husband Jay-Z, said at one point in the interview that she and her family played “Fashion Fridays” during the quarantine.
The singer said, “Every Friday we put on my clothes or made clothes together and took pictures of each other. This has become a ritual for us and gives us the opportunity to spend this wild year laughing together. ”
The singer was also asked if isolation measures changed her approach to parenting.
Beyonce said, “I’ve become a better listener. Blue is very smart and knows that there is a change, but as a parent my job is to do my best to keep an 8-year-old’s world as positive and safe as possible.
The singer added that her advice to other parents is that they love their children “more than ever”.
