Black is King consists of the soundtrack of the beloved movie of the 90s, prepared for the re-shooting of the Lion King (The Lion King) in 2019. Childish Gambino, Kendrick Lamar, Jay-Z and Tierra Whack, who contributed to the soundtrack, are also included in Beyonce’s visual album.

The visual album also includes names such as Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, Pharrell Williams, while the famous singer’s eight-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, also plays an adult role.
