Benzema goes to Champions League history

Real Madrid’s French star Karim Benzema made the history of the Champions League with the goal scored by M’gladbach.

Borussia Mönchengladbach and Real Madrid met in the second week match of Champions League Group B

Real Madrid left a 2-2 draw after falling 2-0 in Germany. Marcus Thuram scored Borussia Mönchengladbach’s goals at 33 and 58. Real Madrid’s goals scored by Karim Banzema at 87 and Casemiro at 90 + 3.

According to OPTA data, Karim Benzema became the fourth player in the history of the Champions League to air the net of 30+ teams, after Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Raul, with the goal he scored against Gladbach.
