Austrian government declares three days of mourning after terrorist attack in vienna

Austrian government after the terrorist attack in Vienna last night in which 5 people died and 17 people injured. Announced that a three-day mourning declared in the country in a private session held.

Austrian Interior Minister Nehammer, in a statement to the press. During the special session chaired by Prime Minister Sebastian Kurz, he stated that three days of mourning has been declared in the country.

Nehammer stated that public buildings will closed until Thursday. “A minute of silence will be held in the afternoon for those who lost their lives in the attack. The Republic of Austria has been and will be a land of diversity, dialogue and respect for each other. The terrorist attack of 2 November 2020 have further shaken and affected our country. As the Republic of Austria, we will defend freedom, democracy and the values of coexistence with determination and with all necessary means.”
