Amazon rivals SpaceX

Amazon’s low-orbit internet project received the necessary approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). With this development, Amazon became a competitor in the field of global internet provider with SpaceX.

Amazon’s boss Jeff Bezos has rivaled Elon Musk in another area. Bezos, who is in the space race with Musk’s SpaceX, is now looking into orbit.

There was a critical development regarding the internet project from the orbit developed by Amazon.

According to the news in TechCrunch, this project of Amazon received the necessary approval from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

According to the same report, thanks to the aforementioned approval, the company will send 3,236 satellites to low earth orbit and will become a global internet service provider by using them.

It had increased the number of low orbit satellites of SpaceX to 420, which had been launching satellites in a low orbit for a similar project for a while.

The company plans to build a 12,000 satellite network into orbit with Starlink satellites. The project is planned to be completed in 2027.
