Nguyen Van Chien (92) living in Vietnam He has never cut his hair for almost 80 years. Chien hair reaches 5 meters in length, believes that if he gets a haircut, he will die.

Nguyen Van Chien, 92, lives in the Mekong Delta says he is proud of his 5-meter hair.

Chien thinks he will die if he says goodbye to his hair, which he hadn’t cut for the sake of his belief since grade 3.

Chien says he does nothing but grow his hair. He points out that he keeps his hair dry, clean and beautiful with a cover.

Chien lives according to a regional belief called ‘Prayer’.

Believing that he is ‘chosen’, Chien helps her son Luom to organize her hair.
