The US Geological Research Center (USGS) announced that the epicenter of the earthquake, which occurred at a depth of 14.3 kilometers, was 27 kilometers southwest of the city of Pocito in the country’s San Juan state.
After the earthquake, there was no “tsunami” warning and no loss of life or property was reported so far. In the news in the country press, it was noted that the earthquake was felt in many places, including Mendoza and Cordoba states.
