The number of people who lost their health insurance in February-May reached 5.4 million due to unemployment.

It was noteworthy that approximately 50 percent of those who lost their health insurance were in the states most affected by the epidemic, such as New York, California, Texas, Florida and North Carolina.

In Texas, where the number of people without health insurance increased from 4.2 million to 4.9 million, it was noted that 3 out of every 10 people did not have health insurance.
