$ 10 billion investment from Google to India

Search engine Google announced it plans to invest $ 10 billion in India over the next 5 years.

“This decision shows our belief in the future and digital economies of India,” said Google CEO Sundar Pichai regarding the investment decision.

Google plans to invest $ 10 billion in India in 5 years as part of plans to make the internet more accessible and more useful.

Pichai noted that the said investment will not be collected in a single point and will be realized as different capital investments, collaborations, operations, infrastructure and environmental investments.

Pichai said that Google will focus on other areas such as artificial intelligence and education in India.

The planned investment will be made through a fund called the ‘digitalization fund’ that focuses on Google’s software and application growth.
